Did You Know - On average, astronauts are exercising two hours per day?
Exercising is an important daily routine for astronauts aboard the International Space Station to help them prevent bone and muscle loss, and to maintain cardiovascular health.
Exercising in a tight, weightless environment has always been a challenge for our astronauts due to microgravity. A 200 pound dumbbell would not weigh anything in space! Therefore, exercise equipment for astronauts needs to be specifically designed for them to receive the workout they need.
That’s why DFXsport was chosen by NASA to help astronauts maintain strength, flexibility, and muscle tone in space!
The popular DFXsport, the same model that was available to the public at major retail sporting goods stores across the country, is clearly seen in a group picture on board The Space Shuttle “Expedition”. NASA utilized the DFX Gyro for its Astronaut Conditioning Program targeting arms, hands, wrists, and shoulders during space flight.
The good news is you don’t have to go into space to enjoy the amazing benefits of DFXsport Gyro Technology - Just click the link below!
